Telephone bookings will be held for1 hour pending payment in full. The booking will then be confirmed by email or letter once your payment has been received.
2. Cancellations & Insurance
A holiday booking is a legally binding contract. If you fall ill, have an accident, become redundant or are otherwise prevented from taking your holiday and we are unable to re-let your accommodation, there could be a cancellation charge. This could be as much as the full cost of your holiday.
This is standard practice throughout the UK. In the event of cancellation the following scale of charges would apply :-
28 days or more before your arrival date - Forfeit of deposit
28 - 14 days before your arrival date - 50% of total costs
13 - 2 days before your arrival date - 75% of total costs
1 day before your arrival date - 100% of total costs
Arrival day or later - 100%
We advise guests to take the precaution of having insurance when booking holidays.
3. Arrivals & Departures
Arrivals are from 2.00pm till.
Rooms must normally be vacated by 10.00am at the latest.
Pick up from Torquay train or coach stations & Exeter airport by prior arrangement.
There is no allowance given for meals not taken.
Packed lunches available by arrangement. Take out meals can be eaten in the dinning room.
Payment may be made by debit/credit card, or cash. Payment by credit card will carry a 2.5% surcharge.
All rooms have tea & coffee making facilities, remote control colour TV's with Freeviews, clock radios and hair dryers. An ironing board & iron is available. There is a small library of books DVDâ€™s and board games which guest may use on the premises.
7. Hotel Policies
To comply with the law we now have a non-smoking policy within Bentley Lodge. Smoking can take place in the garden, please use the ash pot provided.
